The success and positive feedback from participants at the inaugural Fun Weekend last year, means it is on again !  The 2010 Mornington Family Fun Weekend is a rare opportunity where parents and kids can ride together, on enduro style bush trails.

The Mornington Mills Camp is the ideal base for a weekend of fun for the whole family.  Ride the wheels off by day and soak up the atomoshpere with other dirt bike families around the campfire by night.

20 kilometres plus of marked trails will provide something for alllevels of rider.

Bring your own camping gear or sleep dorm. style. Cook damper in the fire or have the camp cook and wash up for you.

The Family Fun Weekend event is an event sanctioned by Motorcycling Western Australia as a recreational event. Ride legally,safely and with peace of mind.

Who can participate ?

The weekend is structured but not limited to suit family groups wishing to ride dirt bikes ( No Quads ) as a family.
If you have a dirt bike, some riding gear and a good attitude then this weekend is for you.

How will it run?

The format will be very casual allowing degree of participation matching experience and stamina.

Arrive when you please and leave when you have had enough fun.

An array of trails within the camp will be signed allowing riders to explore the area and build skills and confidence over the weekend. Novelty sections and activities will be set to add interest and purpose.

Camp trails will be accessible from Saturday morning until Sunday arvo.  Bring plenty of fuel so you run out of energy before you run out of fuel. 

Catering

A catering package is available for only $45 per person which includes Saturday lunch, Saturday dinner, Sunday breakfast and Sunday lunch plus morning and afternoon tea (typical school camp menu).

Alternatively you are welcome to self cater for the weekend.

Accomodation

Bring your base station, tent or swag - or - sleep in a dormitory bed. Accomodation is included in the entry fee. No charge for non riding family members.

How to get there ...






















From Perth:

Travel south from Perth to Harvey.
After 6.2 km's turn left into Mornington Rd. ( Past Wokalup Pub )
Follow Mornington Rd for approximately 10 km's then turn right into Martin Rd.
Follow the T & E arrows to the Mornington Camp - approx. 1.5 km's

■	Safety is a primary consideration and no aggressive riding will be tolerated.
■	First Aid will be available on-site, but you should ensure that you have full ambulance cover.
■	No dogs will be permitted within the Mornington Adventure Camp area.
■	Only riders entered in the event will be permitted to ride, and all directions of the organisers must be obeyed at all times.
