Family Fun Weekend ...
1st and 2nd September at Quindanning
Ride with your children !!
The 2012 Quindanning Family Fun Weekend is a rare opportunity where parents and kids can
ride together, on enduro style bush trails.
The property at Quindanning is the ideal base for a weekend of fun for the whole family.
Ride the wheels off by day and soak up the atomoshpere with other dirt bike families around
the campfire by night.
20 kilometres plus of marked trails will provide something for all levels of rider.
Bring your own camping gear and get back to nature. Cook damper in the fire or supplied BBQ's and gaze up
at the stars after a full days riding.
The Family Fun Weekend event is an event sanctioned by Motorcycling Western Australia as a recreational event. Ride legally, safely and with peace of mind.
Who can participate ?
The weekend is structured but not limited to suit family groups wishing to ride dirt bikes ( Quads welcome ) as a family.
If you have a dirt bike, some riding gear and a good attitude then this weekend is for you.
How will it run?
The format will be very casual allowing degree of participation matching experience and stamina.
Arrive when you please and leave when you have had enough fun.
An array of trails within the property will be signed allowing riders to explore the area and build skills and confidence over the weekend. Novelty sections and activities will be set to add interest and purpose.
All the trails will be accessible from Saturday morning until Sunday arvo. Bring plenty of fuel so you run out of energy before you run out of fuel.
Night Ride
For the more adventurous and those with a headlight can have the unique experience of
riding at night following reflective signs on an easy trail. This is the same as the actual
Night Enduro recently held on the same property.
Skills Sessions
Skill sessions will be run by a very experienced eastern states Enduro rider - Dave Lapent
Additional Fun has been added
To add more fun to the weekend, it's amazing what a little imagination can do ... plus a small
tractor, a big chain saw and a few mates ...
We have added a small skills circuit which includes the Daddy / Daughter logs ( a small one for Dad and a more challanging one for
the siblings ) ... Cameron's Collection - a series of 5 logs to get over .... a log tapering log which provides a good opportunity to practice
getting over logs of varying sizes ...
The best and most challenging is Greg;s Logarythym ... a 20 metre long 1 metre diameter log ... with a ramp at each end ....
Do you dare to ride its length ?
We struggled .... will you be the first to conquer Gregs Logarythym ?

Catering
BBQ's will be available for you to cook your food on..
Tea and coffee available on both days
It is basically a bush camp with a nice level cleared camp area.
There will be Porta Potty toilets on site.
Accomodation
Bring your base station, tent or swag ... it does get a bit brisk at nights so make sure you bring
plenty of warm clothing.
Here are some important details about the weekend :
