Family Fun Weekend ...
27th and 28th August at Quindanning
Ride with your children !!
The success and positive feedback from participants at the recent Family Fun
Weekend this year, means it is on again ! The 2011 Quindanning Family Fun Weekend
is a rare opportunity where parents and kids can ride together, on enduro style bush trails.
The property at Quindanning is the ideal base for a weekend of fun for the whole family.
Ride the wheels off by day and soak up the atomoshpere with other dirt bike families around
the campfire by night.
20 kilometres plus of marked trails will provide something for all levels of rider.
Bring your own camping gear and get back to nature. Cook damper in the fire and gaze up
at the stars after a full days riding.
The Family Fun Weekend event is an event sanctioned by Motorcycling Western Australia as a recreational event. Ride legally, safely and with peace of mind.
Who can participate ?
The weekend is structured but not limited to suit family groups wishing to ride dirt bikes ( Quads welcome ) as a family.
If you have a dirt bike, some riding gear and a good attitude then this weekend is for you.
How will it run?
The format will be very casual allowing degree of participation matching experience and stamina.
Arrive when you please and leave when you have had enough fun.
Come down Friday night and ride all day Saturday & Sunday ....
An array of trails within the property will be signed allowing riders to explore the area and build skills and confidence over the weekend. Novelty sections and activities will be set to add interest and purpose.
All the trails will be accessible from Saturday morning until Sunday arvo. Bring plenty of fuel so you run out of energy before you run out of fuel.
Ride a "real" Enduro Special Test - 2 will be available from the recent Night/Day Enduro
Improve your skills at “mini skills sessions” - log hopping, cornering, braking techniques etc
Join the adventure ride and explore the property.
See the bush at night with a discovery walk lead by David Attenborough, Alias Don Shepherd.
